are the features of this area.
What is
Digital Marketing
When we say Digital Marketing, we are simply
referring to reach out the people using any kind of Digital Medium, so that we can inform them regarding our
product or service whatever we want to deliver to them. In technical terms, it
refers to using Digital Medium
like computers, mobiles phones, laptops, tabs, smartphones, etc and Digital Platforms like phone
apps, search engines, emails, social media, videos, etc to recommend and reach
out to products, services, and brands to the people. When you want to learn Digital Marketing then you must
enhance your skills and techniques required in the same, plus it needs time
along with patience. Further, we must be familiar with certain terms like SERM,

History
Digital Marketing is booming today with its enhanced
features and sharp tools. But it is not like this from starting, it was started
in 1971 as a tiny little segment in the form of email marketing when the first
email was sent and people were able to send files from one system to another. During the 1980s the focus was on widening the storage capacity of computer systems so
that colossal customer information can be recorded. The 1990s was the period when
we were actually entering the era of Digital
Marketing where FTP sites were indexed into Archie Search Engine. During
this phase, companies started maintaining customers’ information in online
databases which helped the companies to course customer information in a more
efficient way. CRM (Customer Relationship Management) became a remarkable
feature in marketing technology. Gradually in 1994, the first digital banner ad
was made life and it was a clickable banner. With the introduction of android phones
and I-phones usage of the internet became hands-on for people and they started
searching for their requirements; be it a query, product, service everything
online and we started entering the Digital
World. With this evolution, the
main challenge was faced by the marketing teams of the companies. This encouraged
marketing departments to incorporate digital technologies into marketing. During
2000s Digital Marketing growth
was rapid with the upcoming of social media, affiliate marketing, dropshipping concept Digital Marketing
has become popular and in demand.
